Biography

Karen gained her PhD in English and Creative Writing at Loughborough University, where she also gained her MA in English and Creative Writing. She teaches on undergraduate and post-graduate English and Creative Writing course and also lectures on Publishing. She has written for many titles, including: Comfort Food, Chocolate, Harold Shipman as well as a number of short story anthologies. She is the published author of: 'The Advent Calendar Recipe Book', and 'Your UCAS Application: a step-by-step guide'. Published magazine articles include: Your Cat, The Racing Pigeon and the magazine of the Leicestershire and Rutland Western Front Association, The Tiger. Karen has an author page on Amazon and she is also a member of Leicester Writers’ Club.
